The method

A ritual from Japan, guided by scalp science.

In Japan, scalp care is an art. YUME, which means “dream,” captures its precision: some twenty expert movements, performed in absolute calm. All you have to do is drift off.

At CRÜE, the ritual is guided by trichology. Every movement relaxes, and every movement treats: your scalp is left clean and healthy, your hair soft and radiant.

The experience

What awaits you

You lie back, your neck supported.
Around you, no sound but the water.
Five stages unfold, each with its own technique and its own purpose.

Client lying down during a Japanese Head Spa, her scalp covered in foam amid the mist
  1. 01

    Mist

    Warm nano-mist

The treatment begins without water: a fine, warm mist settles on your scalp. Its warmth, around 40 °C, softens sebum and preps the skin, so everything that follows works better.

  2. 02

    Foam

    Cushioned foam cleanse

A dense foam, worked in by hand with slow strokes from your forehead to the nape of your neck. It lifts away residue with no scrubbing at all: your scalp is clean, your hair protected.

  3. 03

    Head shiatsu

    Tsubo point pressure

Fingers press on specific points across your scalp, temples and the nape of your neck. The pressure builds, then releases: circulation picks up and tension melts away.

  4. 04

    Head bath

    Tōshinyoku-inspired hydrotherapy

A veil of warm water flows continuously around your head, just like in Japan's hot springs. Your scalp relaxes and your mind slows down. This step is included in the Complete treatment only.

  5. 05

    Warmth

    Warm towels and a blanket

A warm towel is wrapped around your neck and a blanket laid over you. There's nothing left to do: simply rest while the treatments finish their work.

The benefits

Your hair reaps the benefits. Science explains why.

At CRÜE, every step is designed to deliver a result you can see and feel. Trichology explains why it works.

A clean scalp that can breathe

You leave with a truly clean scalp, free of product buildup, excess sebum and dead skin cells. The itching and that clogged, heavy feeling fade away. The science: clear follicles get a healthy environment back, the foundation for steady growth.

Better-nourished roots

Your roots get more oxygen and nutrients, so your hair grows in stronger. The science: targeted pressure and warmth boost microcirculation in the scalp, the network of tiny vessels that feeds the hair bulb.

Softer, shinier lengths

Your hair is soft, hydrated and shiny again, without being weighed down. The science: on a clean, healthy scalp, the active ingredients in your treatments absorb better, and a smooth cuticle reflects more light.

A calmer mind, a more balanced scalp

You leave relaxed, with the tension gone from your scalp, neck and shoulders. The science: chronic stress throws the scalp off balance and can make hair loss worse. By easing it, the treatment delivers lasting benefits too.

How long does the treatment last?

The Complete takes 75 minutes and the Express 45 minutes. Allow a few extra minutes so you can arrive and leave without rushing.

How does booking work after I buy?

You'll get a confirmation email and be added to the priority waitlist. As soon as the clinic opens on December 1, 2026, we'll call you to find a date that works for you. The presale price applies to appointments that take place within six months of opening. After that, the amount you paid still applies in full toward the regular price of the treatment; you simply pay the difference at the clinic.

Can I switch treatments?

Yes. Just contact us and we'll update your appointment. Any price difference is settled at the clinic.

Does my treatment expire?

No, the amount you paid never expires. The presale price applies to appointments that take place within six months of the clinic opening on December 1, 2026. After that, your payment still applies in full toward the regular price of the treatment; you only pay the difference.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes. The Japanese Head Spa gift card is available at the presale price until October 30, 2026, for either the Complete or the Express. You'll receive it by email and can forward it to whoever you like. It never expires: the presale price applies to appointments that take place within six months of opening, and after that its value still applies toward the regular price of the treatment.

Is the treatment suitable for all hair types?

Yes. The ritual works for fine, thick, curly, coily and colour-treated hair. If you wear braids, extensions or locs, contact us before booking and we'll explain how we adapt the treatment.

Are there any contraindications?

If your scalp is irritated, has an open wound or is being treated for a condition, let us know before your appointment. We'll adapt the treatment or reschedule it.

Can I get a refund?

Treatments bought during the presale are non-refundable. The amount you paid never expires, though: once the first six months after opening have passed, it still applies in full toward the regular price of the treatment, and you only pay the difference.
